  10. This document provides late-breaking or other information that supplements the Mapmaker's Toolkit documentation.

  13. WHAT GETS INSTALLED?
  14. Mapmaker's Toolkit ƒ (unless you rename the folder during installation)
  15.    Mapmaker's Toolkit (application)
  16.    Mapmaker's Toolkit Help (Apple Guide help file)
  17.    Mapmaker's Slideshow (application)
  18.    Mapmaker's Slideshow Help (Apple Guide help file)
  19.    Sound (a folder containing sound files for the Toolkit and Slideshow applications)
  20.             Themes (a folder containing the theme maps)
  21.             WalkThrough (a folder containing the WalkThrough Slideshow file used in the Teacher's Guide)
  22.    Demo Maps (examples of the kinds of maps you can make with Mapmaker's Toolkit)

  24. An electronic version of the Teacher's Guide is available on the CD-ROM.

  27. LOCATING THE “DATA” FOLDER.
  28. You may see a message: “Please locate the map data.” Insert the CD, wait a moment for the CD to appear on the computer's Desktop, and click Retry.

  31. KNOWN ISSUES:
  32. Printouts using the following printers may not be centered on the page:
  33. StyleWriter 2400
  34. Canon BJC 4550
  35. Epson Stylus 800
  36.  
  37. Epson LX-810 dot matrix printer may cause one side of the map to get chopped off. Reduce the page size to 8x11 instead of 8-1/2 x 11 to solve the problem.

  39. The extensions for CameraMan may cause the program to run very slowly and some buttons may not operate properly.

  41. Also, please refer to the Troubleshooting section of the program's online Help or the Teacher's Guide.
